With a long and wonderful relationship with the University of the West of Scotland, Coats Paisley has been the proud host to many graduation ceremonies. From the well-coveted images of classes and graduates on our iconic steps, we provide the facilities that mean the day no longer needs to end there.

After 'lifting' your mortarboard in celebration, you can make your way down our period stone staircase to our mosaic lined foyer and into our chandelier-lit ballroom to take your seat for your graduation breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Working with our Events Team and preferred suppliers, we can design the perfect graduation ceremony for graduates and their families to host a day that will be remembered fondly for years to come. With round table seating, linen and Chiavari chairs, we can accommodate 200 guests at one seating.

GRADUATION BALLS

A final hurrah to University life should be celebrated in style. A time for classmates to let down their hair and toast to all the accomplishments throughout their time in education. Starting with a sparkling reception, followed by a sit-down dinner, and ending with a night of entertainment and dancing, the ballroom at Coats Paisley is the perfect setting.

Our Events Team will help you carefully plan and design the graduation ball to suit all budgets and tastes and be on hand to make sure everything runs smoothly on the night. History, elegance, period features and grandeur are only some of the things that will leave all attendees speechless.
